Jamie Archer interview after he was the latest act to leave the X Factor due to not receiving enough public votes.

Jamie Archer - X Factor Live Show 6 Sadly his last solo on Xfactor

Jamie kicked off the show with the Queen number Radio Gaga. This was the last live performance from Jamie, who really got the crowd going again, but Louis Walsh was once again outspoken saying "singing queen has exposed him as a very ordinary singer with a small voice and big hair." even Cheryl uncharacteristically commented that she didn't like Jamie's hair. Jamie was voted out, having been in the bottom two with Lloyd Daniels.

The X Factor 2009 - Jamie Archer sings Crying - Live Show 5

Last nights X Factor Live Show saw Jamie give his best performance to date. Simon made the decision to Jamie's song once again at the last moment. He was due to sing Unchained Melody But Jamie gave us an emotional performance to Roy Orbison's classic, "Crying”, that he said he wanted to sing. The song had featured in a little known cult movie called Gummo.

If Jamie continues choosing his own songs he will do much better in the later stages.

The funny thing is it still never stopped Louis moaning about cheating...claiming that the song was not a movie song! Well done Jamie best your best performance since "Sex On Fire" in my opinion. Good Luck.

Jamie Archer - Get Your Rocks Off (The X Factor 2009 Live Show 4)

Poor Jamie, it was the week when he was meant to shine. Sporting his new lighter hair colour, this week Rock week on Halloween night was his moment to shine yet still could not shake off this pub singer theme that Louis Walsh keeps coming back to.

After his performance of Get Your Rocks Off, Louis said that he seen this type of performance a million times before before Simon retorted and said that this was just mind games. These comments came on top of Louis's "cheating" comments last week in Big Band Week. Whatever, Louis comments seem to be getting to Jamie. If you are reading Jamie, ignore it and just keep doing what you are doing. The only thing I would say is to not be as nice and show a little more attitude. After all Louis thinks The Twins have talent! Thick skinned and determined but talent well???

Jamie Archer - X Factor Live Show 3 U2's "Angel Of Harlem"

Last night Jamie caused some disagreement on Big Band night with Louis practically claiming that this was cheating as everyone else was doing Big Band. It was hard for Jamie having to switch songs 24 hours before to U2's "Angel Of Harlem"

On ITV 2 Jamie explained after the performance, that either way this was going to be a hard week for him. Lets hope he gets through and has the opportunity to sing some Rock next week.

I actually thought he did really well. Here was Jamie's performance below. We'll find out how he fares very soon. Good Luck Jamie.

Jamie Sings Christina - Whitney & Cheryl Bring In Record X Factor Audience

Apologies but not had time to update, well done last again last week Jamie on your performance in Diva week. Without any backing singers, dancers or band; just him and a mic. He sang a great and moving version of Christina's Aguilera's "Hurt"

Poor Whitney! Despite popping a strap on her long silver dress, she carried on like a true professional and belted out her new hit ‘ Million Dollar Bill’ .

Both Whitney & Cheryl put some sparkle into the Sunday night sing off show. Cheryl deserves to be number one this weekend with her amazing outfit, catchy tune; great dance routine. The show bought in a record 15,000,000 viewers, a record for the show.

Jamie Goes Through After Opening Group Performance I Gotta Feeling In Cool ACDC T Shirt

Jamie did enough to get through to the second X Factor 09 live finals which saw Kandy Rain eliminated (aah Jamie you'll have to cope without Coco!) and vowing it's not the last we have seen of them.
The show opened following a somewhat controversial previous night where Danni Minogue made some comments about Danyl Johnson's sexuality on live TV causing a furious reaction from X Factor fans. She apologised on Sundays opening part of the show and on with the night... where Jamie kicked off the singing of the group by singing a version of the Black Eyed Peas song I Gotta Feeling.
He was the strongest of the over 25's in my opinion in that short number and sported a very cool AC DC T shirt.

Live results tonight....

The first new results show starts tonight in the new format of the x factor. Two acts with the least votes will sing again. Bookmakers make Kandy Rain & John & Edwards favourites to be eliminated tonight. Robbie Williams and last year’s X Factor winner Alexandra Burke will also be on tonights show and rumours are that a special tribute to Boyzone member Stephen Gately will be arranged, who died tragically yesterday whilst on holiday yesterday in Majorca.

Coco Lloyd Kandy Rain X Factor crush

The rumours floating around in this weeks press mentioned that Jamie has
has revealed that he has a "soft spot" for Vicki Coco Lloyd the former lapdancer and glamour model in the girl group Kandy Rain. "I have a soft spot for Coco. She's a lovely girl," he told The Sun. "I just think she's a gorgeous woman and any gorgeous woman you are obviously drawn to."

Very logical, but I wonder if he thinks they should have covered up more last night? Cheryl and Danni both thought that they should have but Simon & Louis didn't seem to agree..ha ha. What do you think?

The Afro sings T-Rex Get It On

Thought Jamie really engaged the crowd in tonight's first X Factor live show. He did a good rendition of the classic T Rex song. Think he needs a bit more belief in his abilities to deliver a stronger performance and go on and win. His audition performance of Sex On Fire was stronger for me, but he should go through. Jamie Archer - Stop Crying Your Heart Out (The X Factor 2009 Judges' Houses)

Having told Dermott O'Leary it was the biggest day of his life, he realised that failure here would mean going back on the pubs & clubs circuit. He got through and although his perfomance was not as powerful as his Sex On Fire audition, Simon must have remembered that he could wow and entertain the audience in the live shows. It was a close run contest, but he got through to the live finals.

Where It All Begins Jamie Archer's X Factor Audition

Thought I'd set up this unofficial Jamie Archer aka Jamie Afro Blog as I was blown away by his perfomance of the Kings Of Leon "Sex on Fire" track in his X Factor Audition 2009. As he says he said he is a musician and not a business man. I want him to do well in the show and to follow and support his journey through X-Factor.

It was very refreshing not to hear a balad but some real music from a talented musician for a change. I wish you well Jamie!
